When Special Forces required a short rifle for CQB/CT operations, allowing a compact weapon with optimum firepower, then the SOAR - CQB is the answer. It sports a 10.5” machine - gun barrel, Rate Reduction System (RRS), short stroke piston system. This de sign allows the SOAR - CQB to be fully controllable in full - auto fire. The barrel nut was designed as a heat sink to be more resilient to “ cook - off ”. To further enhance the capa bility of the weapon to adopt in specialized missions, the Mission Adaptable Handguard System (MAHS) utilize an M - LOK attachment system that allows various accessories (lights, lasers, foregrips, etc.) to be attached directly to, practically any location, on the handguard.
