The FERFRANS RMGL (Rail Mounted Grenade Launcher) is a quick attach / detach single - shot weapon designed to improve the M203 grenade launcher. It is light weight (lightest in the indus try) and can attach to the MAHS using an M - Lok picatinny rail. This attachment system is an im portant feature because the RMGL is attached to the free - floating handguard, not affecting the barrel and will not distort the rifle accuracy. The RMGL can be attached to all FERFRANS SOAR rifles or any picatinny handguard platform or a stand alone stock. Another unique feature of the RMGL is the modular double action trigger pack. It can be replaced in seconds with a spare trig ger pack or an electronic trigger pack for possible autonomous vehicle platform use. The RMGL ’ s muzzle tilt down feature permit loading of all NATO low velocity 40x43mm ammuni tion as well as extended range 40mm ammunition.
