FERFRANS RATE REDUCTION SYSTEM To increase reliability, parts longevity, and uncontrollability (in full - auto fire) of the M16 rifle, FERFRANS designed the Rate Reduction System (RRS) to re duce the rate of full - auto fire from 860 - 900 rpm to a much more controllable 580 – 680 rpm. This feature is unique to FERFRANS weapons. With such a re duced cyclic rate, burst fire or non - stop full - auto fire can be easily achieved by mere controlling one ’ s trigger squeeze to keep bullets on target, thereby in creasing accuracy. By reducing the rate fo fire in full - auto, the impact stress on the entire bolt group is also reduced, increasing reliability, parts longevity and resiliency to overheating.

Due to the rise in terrorism, covert operations by special forces require a Sub Compact Weapon (SCW) that will deliver maximum firepower in the smallest possible package. Attacks against VIPs, diplomats, political figures, and dignitaries has prompted security officers to deploy a special kind of weapon that is concealable without sac rificing firepower and accuracy. The FERFRANS SOAR SCW, a configuration of the FERFRANS SOAR line of rifles, designed for situations where maximum firepower and accuracy can be delivered in the smallest possible pack age. The FERFRANS SOAR SCW was developed when there were challenges in the lack of fully controllable PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) with the NATO 5.56X45 rifle caliber cartridge in a short barrel. In addition, was the ineffectiveness of the 9x19mm round used in sub - machine guns against armored opponents. Testament to this is the recent terrorist attack in France that used a cargo truck to run over people. The police had difficulty in stop ping the threat because the 9mm rounds will not go through the truck ’ s windshield. To close this gap, some com panies developed new rounds like the 6X35mm, 4.6X30mm and the 5.7X28mm to achieve a fully controllable full auto compact weapon that will defeat armor at the same time controllable. However, this created a third chal lenge, logistics. The ammunition is not readily available and expensive. It is imperative that the weapon will use the NATO 5.56X45caliber. To effectively answer these issues, FERFRANS developed the SOAR SCW. To address the controllability issue with the NATO round, FERFRANS incorporated the FERFRANS Rate Reduction System that reduces the rate of auto matic fire from 900 rpm to 650 rpm, making the weapon fully controllable in full - auto mode, even with one hand shooting. The rate reduction system has also increased reliability, parts longevity, and heat control for sustained full - auto fire. The combination of the FERFRANS Rate Reduction System in a rifle caliber compact machine gun allows accurate controllable full - auto fire, stopping power, ideal for CQC and CQB operators.

CLOSE QUARTER BATTLE

When Special Forces required a short rifle for CQB/CT operations, allowing a compact weapon with optimum firepower, then the SOAR- CQB is the answer. It sports a 10.5” machine -gun bar rel, Rate Reduction System (RRS), short stroke piston system. This design allows the SOAR-CQB to be fully controllable in full-auto fire. The barrel nut was designed as a heat sink to be more resilient to “cook - off”. To further enhance the capability of the weapon to adopt in specialized missions, the Mission Adaptable Handguard System (MAHS) utilize an M-LOK attachment sys tem that allows various accessories (lights, lasers, foregrips, etc.) to be attached directly to, practically any location, on the handguard.

The FERFRANS SOAR - IAR (Infantry Automatic Rifle) was designed as an improvement over the standard military M4A1 carbine. It was developed to operate in any operational envi ronment and increase firepower. It incorporates a patented Rate Reduction System (RRS) and a state - of - the - art bleed type adjustable short - stroke piston system to reduce cyclic rate of full - auto fire, allowing controllability in automatic fire. The slow cyclic rate allows the use of high capacity magazine more than 30 rounds and also increase accuracy, reliability, parts longevity and durability. The MAHS is a free floating with M - LOK slots as an attachment sys tem for accessories and weapons attachment. The SURG allows the warfighter ’ s weapon (M4A1) to be optimized for continuous suppressed use. The SURG requirement is tailored to the current and future needs of Special Operations Forces (SOF) operators. The needs are based on years of field and training experience. The SURG will provide the most reliable, safe, and dependable assault weapon possible. FERFRANS joined the US SO COM SURG program and this suppressed upper receiver was designed to meet the US SOCOM specifications.

The FERFRANS RMGL (Rail Mounted Grenade Launcher) is a quick attach / detach single - shot weapon designed to improve the M203 grenade launcher. It is light weight (lightest in the indus try) and can attach to the MAHS using an M - Lok picatinny rail. This attachment system is an im portant feature because the RMGL is attached to the free - floating handguard, not affecting the barrel and will not distort the rifle accuracy. The RMGL can be attached to all FERFRANS SOAR rifles or any picatinny handguard platform or a stand alone stock. Another unique feature of the RMGL is the modular double action trigger pack. It can be replaced in seconds with a spare trig ger pack or an electronic trigger pack for possible autonomous vehicle platform use. The RMGL ’ s muzzle tilt down feature permit loading of all NATO low velocity 40x43mm ammuni tion as well as extended range 40mm ammunition.
